Day walk - Bramfield - Burnham Green - Tewin, Hertfordshire with optional map reading practice
Another chance to try this walk that follows the route that was featured in the Map Reading evening on Tuesday 20th March. You can just come for the walk or you can lead part of the walk using a printed map. You can also find out how to follow this route (or others) on footpaths using GPS on a suitably equipped 'smart phone'. (If you want to do this please arrange with Dave La. in advance).
Lunch stop at a pub in Burnham Green or eat packed lunch on a seat on the village green.
A moderately paced walk for 8 miles with stops to look at the map.
Meet: 09:30 Barnet Odeon or 10:15 in Bramfield outside the Grandison Arms P.H. Bury Lane, Bramfield, Hertford, SG14 2QL Grid Ref. TL292157. Free parking area at the Western end of Bury Land (no through road). Map O.S. Landranger 1:50,000 No. 166 (Luton & Hertford).
