About Us

Barnet YHA Local Group is a Local YHA Group, currently with 75 members in the age range 20 to 40 and above. Our members live in Barnet and surrounding areas of North London and South Herts, such as Enfield, Potters Bar, Mill Hill, Finchley, etc.

Yewbarrow

We organise a variety of walking and cycling weekends away from London throughout the year, staying in youth hostels or similar accommodation whether it is on a mountain or at the coast.

Meetings are held every Tuesday with guest speakers, films, quizzes, Bar-B-Ques, etc. Other activities include local evening and Sunday walks, cycling, camping, visits to the theatre, dining out, ten pin bowling etc.

New members are very welcome whether beginners or experienced walkers.
