About Us

Barnet YHA Group (also known as North London Outdoor Group ) is a Local YHA Group, currently with 70 members in the age range 30s to 50s and above, living in North London and Hertfordshire.

We organise a variety of walking weekends away from London throughout the year, staying in youth hostels or similar accommodation whether it is on a mountain or at the coast.

Meetings are held every Tuesday with guest speakers, films, quizzes, Bar-B-Ques, etc. Other activities include local evening and Sunday walks, visits to the theatre, dining out, ten pin bowling etc.

New members are very welcome whether beginners or experienced walkers.
