Evening Walk - Barnet Gate Wood, Whitings Hill and Arkley
A 4.2 mile circular walk including four places of interest.
• Totteridge Fields Nature Reserve (London Wildlife Trust)
• Whitings Wood (Woodland Trust)
• a glimpse of Arkley Windmill.
It is useful if you bring a torch.
Meet: 6.50 pm for a 7.00 p.m start at the junction of Barnet Road, Arkley and Barnet Gate Lane, opposite the pillar box and 100 metres N.E. from The Gate pub. OSGB Grid Ref TQ218952. Nearest postcode EN5 3EN. Torch useful.
Please park in surrounding roads not in the pub car park.
Bus 107 from New Barnet station, Edgware, Elstree & Borehamwood station.
