Day Walk - Stratford Olympic Park and Three Mills

A 7-mile circular walk from Stratford tube station, through the Olympic Park and along the Hertford Union and the Regent’s Canals. Towards the end, we will stop off at the historic Three Mills, part of the Lee Valley Regional Park. One of the mills is now the largest film studios in central London, and another, the Grade 1 listed House Mill, originally built in 1776, is now the largest existing tidal mill in the world. Bring packed lunch.

No meet at Barnet Everyman as Stratford tube station is best accessed from High Barnet/Totteridge and Whetstone stations by the Northern line (then change at Bank to the Central line) or from New Barnet/Oakleigh Park mainline stations (change at Highbury & Islington).

Meet at 10:15 a.m. by Westfield shopping centre exit at Stratford tube station (i.e., just after tube exit barriers by the entrance to Westfield shopping centre). Walk starts 10:30 a.m. sharp.
