Day walk - London Thames Path - 10 Mile Linear Walk

Starting from Canning Town station following the Thames Path to explore London’s rich maritime & industrial heritage. Visiting Bow Creek ecology park, London’s only Lightboat in a abandoned shipyard, the River Lea confluence, a walk under the Thames to visit the Cutty Sark & Royal Naval College in Greenwich, Brunel’s ship the SS Great Eastern launch ramp, Museum of London Docklands, Limehouse basin, visit the first underground river tunnel entrance, St. Kathrine Docks, Tower Bridge, the Tower of London, Jacob’s Island (Charles Dicken’s inspiration for Oliver Twist), a mediaeval fishery & ending at a Saxon built dock & a mosaic describing the history of London.

Meet: 9.50am for a 10.00am (prompt) start, Canning Town Station, Jubilee Line underground exit. Finish at Bank Tube Station (Northern Line).
